Luna Casino Bonus

The welcome package

The headline offer is a 100% match on your first deposit up to NZ$550, plus 150 free spins on Book of Dead. The minimum qualifying deposit is NZ$18 and you need the code LUNA to trigger it. Both parts credit automatically once the payment confirms — there is no opt-in screen and no waiting on support. Each spin is worth NZ$0.18, so the free spins alone are enough to reach the bonus round on a genuinely good slot without spending your own balance.

How to claim it, step by step

1. Open an account and complete the short registration form.
2. Go to the cashier and choose a payment method available in your country.
3. Deposit at least NZ$18 and type LUNA into the promo code field.
4. Confirm the payment — the match and the 150 spins appear straight away.
5. Watch the Points to Redeem counter in your Personal Area as you clear the wagering.

No-deposit bonus

No-deposit rewards are not part of the standard welcome package here — they surface instead through the Daily Picks section, seasonal campaigns and the VIP Lounge, aimed at accounts that are already active. When one lands, the terms are tighter than a deposit bonus: the wagering requirement typically runs between 40x and 60x, you have 24 hours rather than 30 days to clear it, and the amount you can withdraw is capped at NZ$180 or double the bonus value, whichever is greater. That cap is the detail most players miss, so check it before you start playing a no-deposit reward through.

Promo codes

The only code you need at sign-up is LUNA, entered in the promo field of your first deposit. It unlocks both the 100% match up to NZ$550 and the 150 free spins. After that, codes are distributed rather than published: they arrive by email, appear inside Daily Picks or come attached to a VIP tier. Keep the email address on your account active and marketing messages switched on, because that is the channel most seasonal codes travel through. A code that has expired simply will not apply — the cashier tells you immediately rather than silently ignoring it.

Free spins

The welcome offer carries 150 free spins on Book of Dead, one of the highest-volatility slots in the Play'n GO catalogue, at NZ$0.18 per spin. Winnings from free spins are paid as bonus funds and carry their own 60x wagering requirement, which only slots contribute towards. Beyond the welcome offer, free spins turn up regularly as weekly rewards for Silver tier and above, inside Daily Picks and as tournament prizes. Spins usually expire within a set window — often seven days — so use them rather than saving them.

Wagering explained without the jargon

Wagering is simply how much you have to bet before bonus money becomes withdrawable. At 30x on deposit plus bonus, a NZ$18 deposit with a matching bonus means you wager 30 times their combined value. Slots count 100% towards it, everything else 10% — so clearing a bonus on blackjack takes ten times as long as clearing it on slots. The max bet while a bonus is active is 10% of the bonus (minimum NZ$0.18) or NZ$9, whichever is lower; exceeding it can void the bonus. Medium-volatility slots are the practical choice for clearing: high-volatility games can wipe the balance before the requirement is met.

Daily Picks, VIP and tournaments

Daily Picks generates a personal shortlist of offers for your account every day based on what you actually play, which is why it is worth checking before you start a session. The VIP Lounge converts wagering into points that stay valid for 180 days and buy cash, spins and gifts. Tournaments score slot results rather than stake size, split prize pools between top finishers and pay out without wagering conditions — the most straightforwardly valuable promotion on the site.

Terms worth reading twice

Real balance is always spent before bonus balance. You can cancel an active bonus through support if you would rather withdraw. Bonuses are limited to one per person, household, device and IP address. Deposit bonuses expire after 30 days, no-deposit offers after 24 hours, and where several are active the rollover applies to the largest first. Low-risk betting patterns designed purely to clear wagering count as bonus abuse and void the offer.
